We went out yesterday, starting with Balboa park - and maaaaan...I didn't know the place was that great! Walked around for a while, took pictures for my painting class, read inscriptions on cacti in the desert garden, smelled the roses and made fun of a couple making out in the rose garden ;) - (we were making out in a rose garden in Sacramento once. Cheesy. I know. *&*^&% love birds :) And wadayano, there was a Russian wedding, complete with drunk singing for the whole park to hear, slightly used-looking bride, slightly overweight bridesmaids, limos, and a Rolls Royce.
Anyway...even with a wedding, it was great :) Went on a ride in a free park tram, very fun.. People behind us were speaking really nice, soft German. Then we went to the Gaslamp for food and I had to settle for American stuff even though there was plenty of Italian all around. More tourists, more German, plus a range of other languages...One couple sounded like they were speaking in a bird tongue. Seriously.

On Friday we're taking off to Niagara Falls and Toronto, both of which should be fun :) Yay!

So.. I had an interview with SSOE yesterday and I'm really-really-really hoping they're gonna take me.. Please-please-please! (see pearls before swine for an excellent illustration..:)
And we're going to Niagara Falls in a week...And...and...and...we're having some stupid crisis...and...stuff......:"(
